Waking up to Waits

If you use an alarm clock that plays your iPod as the alarm let me tell you that Tom Waits is not really the best person to leave your iPod on. I got a new Tom Waits album the other day and was listening to it before I went to bed, when my alarm went off the next morning it was like waking up in a Tim Burton movie. I love his music but it is not the thing you want to hear when you are still half in dreamland.

The moment I knew we couldn't be friends

Have you ever had a moment in life when you realize you can't be some one's friend. It happened for me the minute I saw a grown man I know glide by on his Heelys (the shoes with the built in wheels on the bottom). I can't be friends with a grown ass man who thinks it is acceptable wearing those, just saying.
